State Park - Georgia, United States
This 1,018-acre park showcases Georgia's longest covered bridge, a 229-foot span across the South Fork of the Broad River built in 1885 by Washington King, son of famous freed-slave bridge builder Horace King. The bridge uses a Town lattice truss system held together with wooden pegs. Fifteen miles of equestrian trails, 22 horse stalls, and river shoals add to the park's appeal.
