State Park - Georgia, United States
Originally constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1934 and briefly designated a National Park until 1939, this 5,804-acre park offers one of Georgia's best public golf courses and 24 miles of equestrian trails. The challenging 18-hole course features a signature water wheel on the 14th hole. Two stocked lakes, a sand beach, and diverse hiking trails add to the recreational opportunities.
