F.D. Roosevelt

State Park - Georgia, United States

Georgia's largest state park at 9,049 acres honors President Franklin D. Roosevelt, who sought polio treatment at nearby Warm Springs. Located on Pine Mountain, Georgia's southernmost mountain range, the park features the 23-mile Pine Mountain Trail, the Liberty Bell swimming pool built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, and Dowdell's Knob overlook where Roosevelt often picnicked.
