National Forest - Georgia, United States
Spanning over 750,000 acres across 18 north Georgia counties, this vast national forest protects some of the finest natural areas in the southeastern United States. The forest features the beginning of the Appalachian Trail, Georgia's highest peak Brasstown Bald, over 1,300 miles of trout streams, ten wilderness areas, and 430 miles of trails for hiking and exploration.
