State Park - Oregon, United States
Hat Rock State Park features a distinctive basalt rock formation rising 70 feet that was noted by Lewis and Clark in their journals. Established during construction of McNary Dam, the 719-acre park on Lake Wallula provides fishing, boating, and camping opportunities. The rock is an erosional remnant worn by glacial floods over 10,000 years ago.
