Rocky Neck State Park

State Park - Connecticut, United States

Established 1931 on Long Island Sound. Features white sand beach, small boardwalk, tidal river, salt marsh, stone pavilion from 1930s. Conservationists floated personal funds until State Legislature authorized purchase.
