Willmore Wilderness Park

Wilderness Park - Alberta, Canada

Alberta's largest wilderness park at 4,600 km². Previously known as Wilderness Provincial Park, renamed in 1965 after Norman Willmore. Adjacent to Jasper National Park with highest point at Resthaven Mountain (10,171 ft). Foot and horse access only. Located in West-central Alberta, 300 km northwest of Edmonton, southwest of Grande Cache.
