Provincial Park - Manitoba, Canada

Famous for its 3-kilometer stretch of fine white sand beach and dunes rising up to 12 meters, Grand Beach serves as a sanctuary for the endangered piping plover. The park features ancient beaches from the last ice age on Lake Winnipeg's eastern shore and is classified as IUCN Category II.
