Cedar Breaks National Monument showcases a spectacular natural amphitheater carved into the Markagunt Plateau at over 10,000 feet elevation. The monument features colorful limestone cliffs, spires, and arches formed through millions of years of erosion, creating formations similar to but distinct from Bryce Canyon. Managed by the National Park Service, the area offers alpine meadows filled with wildflowers during summer months and excellent stargazing opportunities.
