Tarkiln Bayou Preserve

This 4,000-acre preserve near Pensacola protects globally rare pitcher plant bogs and wet prairies along Tarkiln Bayou. The park provides critical habitat for four carnivorous pitcher plant species and offers trails through longleaf pine flatwoods and unique wetland communities.
