One of Florida's original state parks established in 1931, this 9,000-acre preserve features a thousand-year-old oak named the Big Oak and one of Florida's few remaining old-growth cypress swamps. Nine nature trails including an elevated boardwalk provide access to diverse habitats from hardwood hammocks to wetland prairies.
