La Motte Lake Provincial Park is a 575-hectare recreation park (455 hectares land, 120 hectares water) located in the Timmins district, accessed via Highway 144 and LaMotte Lake Road. Established in 1989, the park encompasses a multiple bay lake surrounded by sandy till and moderately rolling rocklands. The park contains a diabase dike of regional geological significance and supports typical northern wildlife including moose, black bear, and beaver. The warm-water fishery includes common white sucker and northern pike. This is a non-operating park.
