Whiskers Point

Provincial Park - British Columbia, Canada

Whiskers Point Park is a lakeside camping destination situated on a peninsula extending into McLeod Lake in the Omineca region. The park features a beautiful sandy beach, representation of the wet, cool sub boreal spruce forest and offers a sheltered southern exposure with scenic sunset views across the water. The facility provides recreational opportunities including swimming, fishing for Dolly Varden and rainbow trout, canoeing, kayaking, waterskiing, and windsurfing. Campers can enjoy a 20-minute nature trail, a playing field, horseshoe pits, an adventure playground, and a volleyball net. Wildlife viewing opportunities include waterfowl, trumpeter swans, bald eagles, ospreys, and black bears.
