Child Lake Meadows Natural Area

Natural Area - Alberta, Canada

Features saline soils with diverse habitats ranging from aspen forest to wetlands. Contains several species uncommon to northern Alberta. Represents all major vegetation types of northern salt meadow, which are uncommon in the Boreal Forest Natural Region. Ecologically significant for its unique salt meadow ecosystems.
