Fort Simpson Territorial Park

Territorial Park - Northwest Territories, Canada

Located at confluence of Mackenzie and Liard Rivers. Fort Simpson is oldest continuously occupied site on Mackenzie River (since 1804). Called Łíídlı Kųę ('the place where rivers come together') by First Nations. Features 21 powered and 11 non-powered sites. Located At entrance to Fort Simpson, confluence of Mackenzie and Liard Rivers.
