Provincial Park - Quebec, Canada
Managed by Parcs Nunavik. The second largest provincial park in Quebec at 5,293.1 km². Name means 'where there are shorelines' in Inuktitut. Located near Ungava Bay, northeast of Kuujjuaq. Features Pic Pyramide (Pyramid Peak, 457m) displaying ancient shorelines from 7,000 years ago. Contains the George River, historically significant for caribou migration and Indigenous peoples. Created in partnership with the Inuit communities of Kangiqsualujjuaq and Kuujjuaq, and the Naskapi community of Kawawachikamach. Serves as a meeting place between Inuit and Naskapi territories. Protects the George River caribou herd.
