Capel Island and Knockadoon Head

Nature Reserve - Munster, Ireland

Comprises all of Capel Island off the south coast near Youghal, part of Knockadoon headland opposite the island and the intervening sea area. The 37-metre high Capel Island is an offshore outcrop of the Old Red Sandstone.
