About Rakhine Yoma Elephant Range

A mountainous wildlife sanctuary of evergreen and mixed deciduous forest in the Rakhine Yoma range, established to protect the Asian elephant. It also shelters the Critically Endangered endemic Arakan forest turtle, hoolock gibbons, gaur, clouded leopard, and Asiatic golden cat.
