Khawr Rawri is the largest of the proclaimed coastal lagoons (khawrs) along the Salalah coast, a 2.5 km bar-built estuary at the mouth of Wadi Darbat.

Khawr Rawri is the largest of the proclaimed coastal lagoons (khawrs) along the Salalah coast, a 2.5 km bar-built estuary at the mouth of Wadi Darbat. Protected under Royal Decree 49/97, it is a major breeding ground for greater flamingos, spoonbills and waterbirds, and adjoins the UNESCO-listed ancient port of Sumhuram.
