Sungai Merbok Mangrove Forest Reserve is the second-largest mangrove tract in Peninsular Malaysia, fringing the Merbok estuary in Kedah. Hosting roughly 40 of the world's 60 mangrove species, it is reached from the Semeling Jetty Complex, where boardwalks, a mangrove museum, and interpretive trails introduce visitors to one of the richest mangrove ecosystems on Earth.
