About Pedu

Pedu Forest Reserve surrounds Pedu Lake, a 75 km² reservoir formed by the 1969 Pedu Dam in the Padang Terap district of Kedah. Gazetted as a permanent reserved forest within the Greater Ulu Muda catchment, it protects lowland rainforest rich in wildlife and supports ecotourism, fishing, and water-based recreation amid forested hills.
