Bisht Kamëz

Bisht Kamëz Protected Landscape protects a small coastal area in Durrës County, Albania, safeguarding remnant natural habitats near one of Albania's most developed coastal zones. The protected landscape represents an effort to maintain some natural coastal character amidst the urban expansion of the Durrës-Tirana metropolitan corridor.

The coastal habitats support limited but locally significant wildlife including coastal bird species, reptiles adapted to Mediterranean coastal environments, and marine life in adjacent shallow waters.
