About P. M. Sayeed Marine Birds

India's first conservation reserve dedicated to marine birds, declared by the Lakshadweep Administration in the Amini-Pitti island group. It protects breeding and feeding habitat for pelagic seabirds including the sooty tern, greater and lesser crested terns and brown noddy, and is named after former Union Minister P. M. Sayeed.
