About Attakoya Thangal Marine

India's largest marine conservation reserve, declared by the Lakshadweep Administration over reef and lagoon waters in the Amini-Pitti island group of the Lakshadweep archipelago. It protects coral reefs, seagrass beds and associated marine biodiversity, and is named after the social reformer Attakoya Thangal.
