About Sharma-Jathmun
Sharma-Jathmun is a coastal protected area stretching approximately 55 km along the Arabian Sea coast east of Al-Mukalla. It is one of the most important nesting sites for endangered green turtles and critically endangered hawksbill turtles, and features coral reef habitats that serve as nurseries for diverse marine species.
