About Libungan

Libungan Watershed Forest Reserve conserves the forested headwaters of the Libungan River in the Alamada and Libungan uplands of Cotabato. The reserve protects remnant closed-canopy forest, supplies irrigation water to thousands of hectares of rice fields, and contains the multi-tiered Asik-Asik Falls. Established by Proclamation 563 in 1990.
