About Lake Lanao Watershed

Watershed forest reserve (Presidential Proclamation, 1992) surrounding Lake Lanao, the second-largest lake in the Philippines and largest in Mindanao. Protects the forest cover and water yield feeding the Agus River hydropower complex, which supplies much of Mindanao's electricity. Co-administered by MENRE-BARMM.
