About Al Wusta Wetland
Al Wusta Wetland Reserve is a vast coastal wetland in central Oman designated as a Ramsar site of international importance in 2023. Covering over 7,000 km², it encompasses multiple ecosystems including coastal lagoons, sabkha, and desert habitat that support large populations of migratory waterbirds.
