About Ras al Shajar
Ras al Shajar Nature Reserve is located in the eastern villages of Wilayat Qurayat and is notable for its dense acacia woodland, from which it takes its name. The reserve protects Arabian gazelles, Arabian ibex, red foxes, Arabian lynx, and serves as important habitat for migratory bird species.
