About Tengku Hassanal

Tengku Hassanal Wildlife Reserve (formerly Krau Wildlife Reserve) is the largest wildlife reserve in Peninsular Malaysia, centered on the Gunung Benom massif. Managed by PERHILITAN, it protects extensive lowland and montane rainforest and is home to the Kuala Gandah Elephant Conservation Centre, gaur (seladang), sun bears, and gibbons.
