The third-largest park in Peninsular Malaysia, gazetted in 2007 and managed by the Selangor Forestry Department. It protects a vast tract of lowland and hill dipterocarp rainforest in the Titiwangsa foothills, including the Klang Gates Quartz Ridge — the world's longest quartz dyke — and habitat for the rare Malayan serow.
