About Templer
A 1,214-hectare forest reserve in Rawang, Gombak District, dedicated by the Sultan of Selangor in 1954 as a wildlife refuge and nature sanctuary. Named after British High Commissioner Sir Gerald Templer, it protects lowland dipterocarp rainforest threaded with jungle streams, multi-tiered waterfalls and hiking trails.
