About Round Valley

Round Valley Natural Area contains mainly second growth aspen with some mature aspen-white spruce forest. The site is located in the Boreal Forest Natural Region, Central Mixedwood subregion, and features typical boreal forest communities. The natural area is managed for hunting and other traditional uses including agricultural grazing, haying, fishing, and scientific research.
