About Bigoray
Located 20 km south of Entwistle in central Alberta's Boreal Forest region, this natural area was designated in 1971. The site protects a mosaic of upland forests interspersed with lowland forests and wetlands characteristic of the boreal forest, with lodgepole pine, white spruce, and aspen occupying upland areas.
