About Magee Lake

Gently rolling aspen-covered uplands with a few wetland depressions and two gullies. Provides important wildlife habitat due to its connection to the Chain Lakes-Parlby Creek system, which flows into Buffalo Lake within the Red Deer River basin. The natural area lies west of, but not on, Magee Lake itself, which is the southernmost of the three Chain Lakes.
