About Dashti-Jum

Dashti-Jum Nature Reserve protects the southern slopes of the Darvaz Ridge in the Khatlon region. The reserve was established to preserve the last viable population of markhor goats in Central Asia and Central Asian mouflon. It is a UNESCO Tentative World Heritage Site and an Important Bird Area.
