About Umm al-Qamari
Umm al-Qamari Islands were the first protected area in Saudi Arabia, comprising two Red Sea islands southwest of Al-Qunfudhah. The islands harbor the largest colony of swift terns reported in the Red Sea, along with numerous other seabird species including brown booby and great white pelican.
