About Al-Khunfah
Al-Khunfah is a large protected area on the western fringe of the Great Nafud Desert in northwestern Saudi Arabia. It features diverse desert landscapes including sand dunes, rocky plateaus, and wadis, providing habitat for Arabian oryx, sand gazelle, and other desert wildlife. Now incorporated into the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Natural Reserve.
