About Sagay

The largest marine reserve in the Philippines, established to protect the Carbin and Maca reefs off Sagay City, Negros Occidental. It conserves coral reefs, seagrass beds, mangroves and the sandbar islet of Carbin Reef, a popular community-managed ecotourism destination.
