About Htamanthi

A large lowland sanctuary along the Chindwin River in northern Sagaing, lying in a transition zone of three biodiversity hotspots. It protects tropical evergreen and mixed deciduous forest and is a priority site for tiger, Asian elephant and clouded leopard conservation.
