A large atoll with exceptional marine biodiversity (over 360 fish and 170 coral species) protected as a marine conservation area under Rongelap Atoll Local Government and MIMRA. Long uninhabited following 1950s nuclear-test fallout, its reefs remain among the most pristine in the region.
