About Ailinginae Atoll
An uninhabited atoll conservation area established under Rongelap Atoll Local Government ordinance and overseen by the Marshall Islands Marine Resources Authority. Protected largely by its remoteness, it bans commercial fishing and preserves pristine coral reef, seabird, and turtle habitat.
