About Gunung Basor
A mountainous permanent reserved forest in the Jeli district of western Kelantan, gazetted as a water catchment forest under the National Forestry Act 1984. It is dominated by the 1,840 m Gunung Basor along the Titiwangsa Range, draining toward Tasik Pergau, and offers a remote multi-day jungle climb through montane forest rich in highland flora and fauna.
