About Mount Meron

Mount Meron Nature Reserve is the largest nature reserve in northern Israel and the highest reserve in the country at 1,204 meters. The reserve features Mediterranean forests with diverse ecosystems including fire salamanders, wild boar, and flora characteristic of Turkish and Lebanese mountain regions.
