About Jajrud

Mountainous protected area in the Jajrud River basin northeast of Tehran in the southern Alborz foothills, the oldest protected no-hunting zone in Iran and a former Qajar-era royal hunting ground that encompasses the Khojir and Sorkheh Hesar park complex.
