About Tral
Tral Wildlife Sanctuary in Pulwama district was notified in 2019 from the historic Shikargah and Khangund conservation reserves, originally royal hunting grounds dating to 1945. It forms a vital corridor linking Dachigam with Overa-Aru and protects the hangul, leopard, and Himalayan black bear.
