About Rajparian (Daksum)

Rajparian Wildlife Sanctuary, near the hill resort of Daksum in Anantnag district, is one of the oldest protected areas in the region. Its dense conifer forests and meadows along the Bringhi river support musk deer, leopard, Himalayan black bear, and the koklass pheasant.
