About Jasrota

Jasrota Wildlife Sanctuary is a small lowland reserve in Kathua district named for the historic Jasrota fort and the Ujh river that flows through it. Its dry deciduous and riverine forest supports leopard, barking deer, wild boar, and a notable diversity of resident and migratory birds.
