Buck Lake Natural Area consists of two parcels adjacent to Buck Lake. The north portion features mainly willow shrubland, black spruce-tamarack/sphagnum moss, wet sedge meadows, and some upland mature aspen. The area provides diverse wetland and forest habitats characteristic of the boreal forest region.
