About Tonle Sap

UNESCO Biosphere Reserve established by Royal Decree in 2001 covering Southeast Asia's largest freshwater lake and its seasonally flooded forest. Contains three core conservation zones (Prek Toal, Boeng Tonle Chhmar, Stung Sen) and supports globally significant waterbird colonies and one of the world's most productive inland fisheries.
